Mongolia's foreign trade up 6.7 pct in 2019

ULAN BATOR, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign trade expanded 6.7 percent in 2019 to 13.7 billion U.S. dollars, data released by the country's National Statistics Office (NSO) showed Thursday.

Exports climbed 8.7 percent year on year to 7.6 billion dollars, while imports grew 8.0 percent to 6.1 billion dollars, said the NSO.

China remained Mongolia's biggest trading partner in 2019, accounting for 64.4 percent of total trade, it said.
